Pets With Covid 19 Corona Virus

Until now there is no definite source about the 2019 corona virus outbreak and to this day there is also no certainty that animals play an important role in the spread of the Corona 19 virus to humans. This virus is very susceptible to spread from human to human. However, human transmission to animals can occur and there have been many cases reported related to humans transmitting the Corona 19 Virus to their pets.

The first cases of animals reported being exposed to the Corona 19 Virus occurred at the New York Zoo, including tigers and lions. Until now, the animals that have been confirmed to have contracted the Corona 19 Virus that have been reported are dogs and cats. In several states including the US, pets become sick after physical contact with people who have been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus. A Kentucky zoo official who has been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus has also infected a snow leopard.

For that, what are the steps that can be taken so that our pets avoid the Corona 19 Virus:

1. Don't let your pet leave the house because we don't know who he will make contact with and if possible keep your pet indoors.
2. If you are out walking with pets, then make sure to keep you and your pet 2m away from other people.
3. Avoid public places or where many people gather to be safer against exposure to the Corona 19 Virus
4. Pets do not need to wear masks, otherwise masks can harm your pet.

If your pet looks lethargic and sick, immediately take it to the doctor for further examination.

Then what about pets who have been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus?
1. Wear a mask and gloves when in contact with your pet
2. Provide high nutritious food and don't forget to give him a drink that has been mixed with animal vitamins
3. Do not stay away or fear exposure because in fact your pet is exposed to people who have been exposed Corona 19 virus and direct contact with your pet
4. Take your pet to walk in the morning or evening around the yard of the house, just so that his body keeps movingpets

Infectedcan get sick or may not show any symptoms. and most of the sick pets only show mild symptoms and will recover completely on their own.

Due to the spread of the Corona 19 Virus, you don't need to over-spray your pet with disinfectant or bathe it every day with products that contain alcohol and other chemicals. Just take care of your pet as usual, provide adequate nutrition and regularly provide vitamins for your pet.

If you or a family has been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus, you should immediately do independent isolation, for pets can be placed in another room, if possible, it is best if your pet is temporarily in another relative's house. Don't let your pet be with people who have been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus. Keep the cage clean and your pet clean. Please consult a doctor if your pet looks sick.

If you have been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus, you should avoid physical contact such as holding, kissing or hugging your pet and don't let your pet sleep in the hand you sleep on. And if you or your family at home have been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus and there are signs that your pet is starting to show symptoms of illness, then all you need to do is contact your veterinarian and say that you have been exposed to the Corona 19 Virus. The doctor will evacuate your pet and determine the next steps for the care of your pet.

You don't need to worry because your pet will soon recover and return to its usual enthusiasm, there is nothing so much to be afraid of. What you need to understand is that your pet has strong immunity, you only need to provide him with enough nutritional food and vitamins to maintain your pet's health for now.

Take your pet to walk outdoors to maintain its stamina, you don't need to be too far from the house, just around the yard. To avoid the spread of the Corona 19 Virus always maintain a safe distance from other people.

Most of the animals exposed to the Corona 19 Virus did not show symptoms of illness, but for a small proportion of animals that showed symptoms of illness were only weakness, lack of appetite and their breathing looked abnormal as usual. If there are signs from your pet, you should immediately take it to the vet so that it can be handled further.

We recommend that in the current condition of the Corona 19 Virus, both we and our pets should always avoid the spread of this virus, because it is better to avoid it than to have to receive treatment.

It is not yet certain whether pets exposed to this virus can transmit back to humans or if exposed pets will infect other pets, this is still in the process of deeper research. The fact that is known at this time is that pets can be infected with the Corona 19 Virus, so you should need to take more care for your pet. Among cats, dogs and also poultry can be infected with the Corona 19 Virus.

For the last protection, don't forget to carry out routine checks to find out whether we or our pets are exposed to the Corona 19 Virus or not. Because some people and pets who have been exposed do not show any symptoms. Therefore, it is better if we ourselves have to carry out routine checks. And even not only you have to keep a distance from other people, but your pet must also be kept away from places where people gather. Always maintain health protocols and follow government recommendations.

There is no certainty when things will return to what they were before when there was no Corona 19 Virus, I and everyone in this world hope that the Corona 19 Virus will end soon, that's why always keep your hands clean and don't forget to continue wearing masks when outdoors.
